A small illustration piece I was commissioned to create at the end of 2017, using a combination of ink drawn with a dip-pen and watercolour washes to bring the piece to life.
In mid-2017, during a very cold winter, I drew these hot chillies for a bit visual warmth. They're realist, rendered only in coloured pencil and are available to purchase now at my shop. Click here for further details and specs.
A medium I really enjoy working with is marker. They're great for rapid rendering and simulating real surface textures, whether it be something like a product or a botanic study. It's cool being able to share these skills with design students I teach too.
The Box Boy is a story about a boy who loves to collect boxes and make amazing things with them. Throughout the book, scanned textures and graphics from boxes are combined with watercolour illustrations. The Box Boy can be purchased online from my Shop.

I tend to illustrate with a range of materials, often creating my pieces using a combination of analogue and digital processes. Several of the illustrations here are available as greeting cards and prints in my shop.
I love indoor plants... Actually, I love all plants really. This is a growing collection of illustrations I've been creating recently. A 'growing' collection... See what I did there! #plantpuns
